Wizz Air

Wizz Air is a Hungarian low-cost airline and largest airline of Hungary. Wizz Air operates flight from multiple airports such as Katowice, Belgrade, Bucharest and Budapest. Wizz Air was founded in 2003 and operates scheduled passenger services to more than 65 destinations in Europe. Wizz Air flies in a point to point model rather than the more traditional airline hub and spoke model where the passengers have to change aircraft in transit at a major airport. Wizz Air mostly flies to smaller or secondary airports to reduce costs and fees.

Wizz Air operates an all Airbus fleet. Aircraft cabins are configured in a single class, high density layout.

Our rating:
Advantages of Wizz Air are cheap fares, diversity and quantity of destinations and direct flights to destinations in Europe. The fleet is young and well maintained. It is also possible to select a seat and check in online.
Disadvantages of Wizz Air are the seat pitch in economy class. Rather uncomfortable seats but alright for a short flight. There is no in-flight entertainment available. Surcharges for cabin bags may apply.

Wizz Air is an average airline. No extraordinary performance but a decent airline. For extra services you will be charged.
